Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to c. 1435, with reference to entries in London Letter Book K (pp.191, 248) referring to works on the bridge. However, part of the structure collapsed on 14 January 1437, and given that the petition states that the bridge was 'in great part broken and fallen down', it seems highly likely that the document relates to that event.
