[This petition is badly faded and stained, and large parts are now illegible.]The petitioners request the restoration of their lands in Galtrim, Mullosy and Rosaylede in County Meath, Ireland, and an enquiry into various extortions and other attacks made upon them. These lands were claimed by Asshele, chamberlain of the king's son Thomas, but judgment was given in their favour.

Let a writ be sent to Thomas, his lieutenant and his council, with a copy of this petition, and let them do right to the petitioners.By the council [...] Friday [...] March 4 [Henry IV]: The chancellor, the Earl of Worcester, the Keeper of the Privy Seal and John Scarle.
