Nature of request
The Earl requests remedy regarding the advowson of Beeston Regis. He details the descent of the manor and advowson from the time of Henry III, the names of the clerks presented to the living, and also states that his father granted the manor but not the advowson to Tiptot. The king has now presented to the recent vacancy instead of him, thus dispossessing him of his right.
