Nature of request
Writ of Henry IV, dated at Westminster on 24 January 1407, ordering Oldhall, Drax and Wyram to arrest all the people named and bring them before the Council.
Nature of endorsement
[on face] By the king and council.[on dorse] On 24 January 1407, present in the council were the Prince, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Bishop of Winchester, the Bishop of London, the Bishop of Durham, the Chancellor, the Earl of Somerset, the Treasurer, the Keeper of the Privy Seal, the chamberlain and the seneschal, who agreed that writs under the great seal be addressed to these people of the Hanse, ordering them to be before the council at the octave of Candlemas next, to answer the matters contained in the attached bill, and that writs also be issued to the mayor, aldermen, bailiffs and customers of Boston, and if any refuse, [...].
