Note (Additional information about the record)
- Almost no details survive in this petition, beyond endorsements referring to the Count of Foix and a note appearing to state that the request was granted in the king's first year. Notes on the guard suggest 1 Henry IV (1399-1400), but a grant was made on 10 June 1 Henry V (1413) of various lands to the sons of Archibald de Grailly, Count of Foix, following the exemplification of certain charters, and this is almost certainly the petition which led to that grant.
