[This petition is damaged and stained, and parts are now missing or illegible.]William Boynton requests the restoration of lands in Boynton, held in the time of Edward I by another William de Boynton and his wife Alice, of whom he is the heir following the death of his elder brother. These lands were seized into the hands of Henry IV after the death of their mother, who held them in dower, due to the forfeiture of their father, Henry, for his involvement in a rising at Berwick in July 1405.
