John Eure, imprisoned on the order of the king at Northampton, and John Pikard, his man, request that they be delivered from prison, as they are ill and on the point of death.

The king understands that the one who was with him when the monk was killed may be taken by him if he wishes. And he should not be delivered unless [...] such council that the other be taken.

Dated to the latter part of the thirteenth century solely on the basis of the hand. Unfortunately the endorsement is faded in places and difficult to read.
