Nature of request
Inquisition, held at Exeter on 25 July 1393, into the complaint by Adam that Treresse had seized his lands. However, the jury state that Ilberde had already granted these lands to Treresse before the debt was made at the Staple, but they were nevertheless given to Adam when he sued to recover the debt. Treresse then re-entered the lands to recover his rights.
