Nature of request
The Bishop of London requests permission for him and the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's to grant to Darcy and others, burgesses of Maldon, various property and rights in the town of Maldon, according to the tenor of an attached schedule [not extant].
Nature of endorsement
On 2 July 4 [Henry IV], it was agreed by the Chancellor, the Treasurer, the Bishop of Rochester, the keeper of the Privy Seal, Hugh Waterton, John Cheyne and Arnold Savage that letters patent be made according to the contents of this petition, notwithstanding any statute to the contrary.
