Note (Additional information about the record)
- On 20 May 1441, letters patent to John Tisyng regarding various lands in Nottinghamshire were revoked at the request of the chapter of Southwell. Although no firm connection can be made, the handwriting of the petition would certainly be consistent with such a date, and it is probably unlikely that the chapter would make many requests without the Dean.
