Note
The pardon mentioned in the petition may be that granted to Barbour on 11 May 1408, or possibly another in connection with that case. Barbour states that he had the pardon for three years before it was given to Hethe, suggesting a date around 1411. However, the references to the king's pardon would indicate that it must pre-date Henry IV's death in 1413.
