Nature of request
The Abbot of Convent of Meaux request that the king withdraw his order for them to provide a corrody to Hunt. They state that they were not required to provide any such corrody by their founders, but since the abbey came into the hands of the crown after the death of Aveline de Fors, various kings have asked them to provide corrodies, which they have done at various times out of friendship or fear.
