Nature of request
Joan Beauchamp requests that she be granted formal letters of pardon for a felony for which she and her husband were convicted and sentenced to death. The sentence was not carried out due to the intervention of the king's mother, but the true culprits have since been found and executed, and the accuser has repented of the conviction.
