Note (Additional information about the record)
- William de Breuse died in January 1291 (Complete Peerage, III, p.302), while Edmund de Colevill was born in January 1288, coming of age in 1309 (CIPM, Vol. V, no.157). Clearly the petition dates from between Breuse's death in 1291 and 1307, as the king to whom the petition is addressed appears to be the same as the one who made the original grant (i.e. Edward I).
