Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to 'c. 1441', but only with reference to the appearance of Robert Hunt of Lynn in an unconnected confirmation of that year (CPR 1436-41, p.524). The reference to Tuddenham receiving the original writ might date that event to his term as sheriff in 1432-3, and he is presumably the man executed in 1461. The handwriting would certainly suggest a date during the middle decades of the fifteenth century.
