Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to c. 1416. On 21 July 1413, Henry V confirmed his father's grant to Logge of the post of ranger of Savernake forest and of 6d a day. On 26 August 1416 he was granted 6d a day from Hampshire, and on 27 October the sheriff of Hampshire was ordered to pay this and all arrears. It seems likely that the payment was moved from Wiltshire to Hampshire as a result of this petition, presumably prompted by some difficulty in securing payment.
