Nature of request
Thomas Barre requests the restoration of rent due to him from the manor of Burgate and hundred of Fordingbridge. He states that he and Richard de Bureley inherited the lands from Henry de Penbrugg, and he granted his part to Richard, in return for this rent, and lands in Herefordshire. Richard's widow enfeoffed the lands to Simon, and they have now been seized into the king's hands following Simon's forfeiture.
