The Abbot and Convent of Reading request letters to themselves and the Bishop of Hereford discharging any of their monks resident at their manor of Leominster from any collections towards the clerical tenth granted during the recent Salisbury parliament, or any other such charges. They are being charged towards this tax, even though they should not be, and have never been charged there before.
