Isabel Broun asks that the king remember the various trespasses committed against her by Sadeler and Parker, by the maintenance of Peg, and how the king has ordered Peg to make remedy to her. She states that Peg has not done this, and requests that the king order Peg and Cook to appear before him or his council to explain why they have not ignored this order, and to make restitution of her great losses.

Note
This petition was formerly enclosed in a signet letter (C 81/1355/8) dated at Sheen on 11 September. No year is given, but a note on the guard of that document dates it to 1385, with reference to CPR 1385-9, p.83, a commission of oyer et terminer of 13 September 1385 into an attack by Sadeler and Parker. Richard II certainly appears to have been at Sheen on 11 September 1385, and it would seem that the petition and the commission relate to the same events. However, the complainants named in the commission are John and Isabella Mareschal, and the petition contains details not given in that commission. Either Sadeler and Parker attacked both the Mareschals and Isabel Broun, and the commission was then issued in response to the Mareschals' complaint, or the two Isabels were the same person, and the commission was issued in the light of further information. As the commission refers to the attack being on Isabel Mareschal rather than the couple, the latter might appear more likely, but this is unclear. A further commission in identical terms was issued on 27 November 1387.
