Nature of request
Adam Chubbe requests the restoration to him of 20 marks annual rent from Langbaurgh wapentake, formerly held by Alberton. On Alberton's death, the rent was taken into the late king's hands, as the escheator certified that Alberton had no heirs, and was granted to Elmham and Vantourt, but Chubbe states that he is the cousin and heir, and ought to receive the rent.
