- The Prior and convent of Margam request that, at the next vacancy, they be restored to the advowson of the church of Aberavon, formerly granted to them by Edward Despenser, the lord of Glamorgan and Morgannwg, due to their poverty. Despenser did not receive royal licence, believing that he did not need to as a baron of the March, and they obtained licence from Rome, but the advowson has taken into the king's hands due to an infraction of the Statute of Mortmain.
