Note (Additional information about the record)
- The chancery warrant with which this petition was apparently once enclosed is dated 28 December 1390, and this fragment has been dated accordingly. According to the warrant, the petitioners were Abraham, Prat and Walsham, but Donne seems to be included with them in the second request, and appears in other related petitions. A commission to enquire into this matter was issued on 8 January 1396, but that commission includes details not given in this petition, and was presumably in response to another petition.
