Note
A signet letter was issued to Grey on 30 August 1472 (SC 1/44/54) ordering him to return the petitioner's estates, seized by Edward IV following Strelley's involvement in the Readeption of Henry VI. This would seem to be the letter mentioned in the petition, which Grey was ignoring.
