The chancery warrant with which this petition was formerly enclosed, and the resultant commission of oyer et terminer, were both dated 29 September 1304.Although the precise identity of 'Malorges' may be unclear, the petitioner is explicitly described as of Majorca in the earlier letter of safe conduct.The second endorsement is clearly unconnected with the rest of the document.
