Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to c. 1422, under the assumption that the petition dates to Henry VI's reign, and refers back to grants made by Henry V and service to Henry IV. However, it could easily date to Henry V's reign itself, referring back to grants of Henry IV and service to John of Gaunt. Since the king's grandfather is not referred to as king, the c. 1413 date is perhaps the most likely.
