The requested licence was granted on 30 March 1397, and confirmed on 20 January 1398, following Archbishop Arundel's exile. W. Rees, 'Petitions Relating to Wales' includes a summary purporting to be of this document (p.303), but the reference is clearly incorrect, and is actually of SC 8/180/9000.
