Nature of request
William de Seymor states that, although holds no land of the king by knight service or any other land to the value of 10 marks, he has received a summons to be with the king at Newcastle, with the service that he owes, at the Octave of Trinity next. A similar summons has also been sent to the heir of Nicholas de Seymour, a minor in the king's wardship. He asks that his name be removed from the chancery roll.
