Nature of request
The petitioner makes two requests, but the document is badly damaged, and both are illegible in places:1) Request regarding reparations for lands lost in the war between the king and his father and the King of France.2) Request for an order to the constable of Bordeaux, seemingly regarding payment of wages.
Nature of endorsement
As to the lands, the king hopes to have good answer at Michaelmas from the king of France concerning the lands which he seized from him, and then he will act according to reason.Concerning the second petition let it be ordered as requested if the account is good.
