Nature of request
John Blaunchard states that William and Edith Peverel were seised of property in Barford St Martin, together with a bailiwick in the forest of Grovely pertaining to those lands, paying 10s per annum. However, in the twenty-ninth year of the reign of the king's grandfather, Thomas de Breouse, Justice of the Forest, took the bailiwick into the king's hands for certain trespasses committed after William's death by Edith, who had estate only for the term of her life. The bailiwick is still in the king's hand, and John, who now holds William's property, requests restitution.

This bill is to be sent to Chancery, and when John Knyvet and others have been called, let justice be done.
