Note
From the form of the document, and the places and topographical surnames within it, this would seem to be a stray plaint from a general eyre in Shropshire. Given that the incident took place in August 1286 (which, from the form of the date, was probably some time before the document was written), it was probably presented to the next general eyre in the county, held at Shrewsbury between October and December 1292.
