Brother John Tygnosyn, vicar and preceptor of the master and brothers of the hospital of St James de Hautpays in the bishopric of Lucca, requests remedy concerning the church of Great Thurlow, which has belonged to their house for more than a hundred years, but from which they have been unjustly ousted, first by Mettecombe and then by Hermodesworth.
