Marny requests that the king order the justices of assize in Buckinghamshire not to proceed with a case of novel disseisin brought against him by Nernuyt, and summon the case before the council. He states that he bought the manor of Kingsey from Ewell, to hold of the king, but Nernuyt now seeks to take possession, to the loss of both him and the king.
