[Petition in 2 parts].1. Molere requests that the seneschal of Gascony be ordered to admit Molere to the office of judge of the court of Gascony notwithstanding the letters that the people of Berard de la Brit presented against this. He was appointed by Edward II and confirmed by the present king for his long service to them both.2. Molere requests satisfaction of the fees and wages due to him under writs of the great and privy seals to the constable of Bordeaux, upon which the constable did not wish to do anything.1)
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the first, it seems to the council that he should have the office as contained in the petition for his service if it pleases the king.2) Concerning the second, he should have a writ sicut alias.3) The second request is to be enrolled, but the first is not because he did not wish to sue.
