Nature of request
The minoresses request that the king's ministers be commanded to come and view their charters and exemptions which they have of the grant of the king's progenitors, and of the king's confirmation exempting them from paying taxes, tallages and other charges to the king.
Nature of endorsement
[On face].The king has granted this upon the advice of the council.[On dorse].It is agreed by the council the 1st day of March that the petitioners should have a writ of discharge to this time according to the purport of their charters.

The petition is dated to 1378-1388 on the basis of the guard note. The petition is answered on the face in the same way as SC 8/178/8866 and 7, and 8866 dates to 1381, so that they may well be contemporary.
