Fitz Warin, Fulk

King.
Nature of request
[The petition is damaged and incomplete, and thus the sense is unclear.]Fitz Warin requests that it be commanded to the justices . . . parliament that the bill be determined and the distress taken from him be returned. Mortimer did . . . raise £120 from the hundred of Whittington which Merton and . . ., justices. Fitz Warin complained to the king concerning the justices . . . because he had a bill pending in parliament, and it was adjourned to the next parliament.
Nature of endorsement
[None]
Places mentioned
Whittington, [Shropshire].
People mentioned
Roger de Mortimer, justice of Wales.
Note
The petition dates to 1309 as the chancery warrant in which the petition was formerly enclosed dates to March 1309 (CCW 1244-1326, p.284). Rees transcribes a lengthy endorsement to this petition, but this is almost certainly an error, as there is no sign that such an endorsement was ever written on this document.
