[Two separate petitions on one parchment].1) Bernard Ferran requests payment of a sum due to him for his service in Gascony for which he has accounted with the constable of Bordeaux.2) Hugh Ferran requests that the constable of Bordeaux and the seneschal of Gascony be ordered to suffer him to peaceably have and hold the house and places adjoining the wall of Bordeaux castle between the gates of the castle and St Peter for which he pays a rent to the castle. He has not been able to enjoy the house because he has been prosecuted by the constable of Bordeaux.1)

The petition dates to 1332 as the related enrolments on the Gascon roll are found on the roll for 6 Edw. III, and date to the 18th of September and the 5th of November (C 61/44, mm.2, 4 and 5).
