Nature of request
The people request that they be able to account and have allowance for debts incurred in the wars of Scotland, Wales and Gascony, and for building galleys, against debts they owe to the king.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ of Chancery be directed to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they view and examine if the debts within contained are owed; and for those that are clearly owed they should make allowance in the debts that they owe to the king of every kind.
