- The prior requests that the chancellor be ordered to do justice to him and to grant a writ to Horbury to come and answer the prior as to whether he knows any reason why the letters patent granting him the chapel annexed to the church of Bures should not be revoked. The prior and his predecessors were parsons of the church of Bures and the chapel annexed to it from time out of memory, but Horbury procured a collation by alleging to the chancellor that the chapel was void and the presentation pertained to the king.
