Nature of request
Warrant of Richard II to the archbishop of York commanding him to attend to the petition of Penyel and Pole and call the parties and hear the arguments of the parties and for the king and view the evidences and do the justice according to the law. Penyel and Pole complain that they were disseised of a moiety of a tenement in Bishopgate called 'Dragon on the Hope' and it has now been granted to Lincoln for life.
