Nature of request
Lancastre requests that she be granted the goods and chattels of her husband, and that the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer be commanded to cease their demand on her for the goods and chattels. She is being impeached in the Exchequer for certain goods and chattels that were her late husband's, and the escheator of Devon also holds certain goods to serve her children.[The petition is followed by three lists entitled:1) The goods that are demanded from the hand of the countess.2) The goods that were delivered to serve the children.3) The goods that were not delivered to her hands after the forfeiture.]
