[The petition has suffered significant damage, and the nature of the request is not entirely clear].Moubray requests . . . [? of the wardship of the lands late of his father] . . . for his sustenance and the remainder for the extent, [having regard for ] the wrongful and shameful death suffered by his father, and the waste and destruction [done to his estate], and the wrongful imprisonment that he suffered.
Nature of endorsement
It is agreed by the council that he have his lands by the extent until he is of age, thus that he do the services due to the king for the lands as was done for his father.

The petition probably dates to 1327 if it does equate with the grant made to the petitioner on 22 February 1327 (CFR 1327-37, p.20).
