Note (Additional information about the record)
- This petition concerns a suit brought by Ellis Daubeney against John de Welington in Easter term 1295 (see PROME, Edward I, Roll 10, appendix, no. 6). It would appear to predate the grant made to Ellis Daubeney in the August parliament of 1295 that he might be heard in the king's court as an Englishman (Rot. Parl. vol. I, p.135a).
