[The petition is badly damaged and is clearly missing a significant portion from the left-hand side of the petition so that the full sense of the petition is difficult to discern].The petitioners request confirmation of their charters . . . [which apparently concern the fisheries on the Thames and Medway, and the destruction of unlicensed fisheries] . . . and that anything granted in the meantime to the contrary be repealed.
