Mary de Seint Hillary (St Hillary).
Name(s)
de Seint Hillary (St Hillary), Mary
Addressees
King.
Places mentioned
Cambridgeshire
Huntingdonshire.
Nature of request
.Seint Hillary requests that the chancellor be commanded to make writs of liberate et allocate for her to be paid the arrears of the annuity of £20 granted to her by Richard II and confirmed by the king, and to be taken from the issues of the counties of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire by the hand of the sheriff at Easter and Michaelmas.
Nature of endorsement
[None].
Note
The petition dates c. 1405 as the guard notes the reference to the date of the morrow of Easter 6 [Hen. IV] in the petition. Unfortunately the petition appears to have been damaged since the guard note was added as only the regnal year of 6 [Hen. IV] remains, so that the guard note now cannot be confirmed. However, this does not alter the dating of the petition.
