Nature of request
Fitz Thomas requests that the justices of Ireland be commanded to maintain his rights as the Irish of the earl of Ulster came to his town of Rathangan and burnt it and the land around, and he requests that he be granted a service to strengthen a fortress for the profit of Ireland. He further requests that he be granted a charter of pardon for all manner of homicides, felonies, robberies, arsons and other trespasses in Ireland for his service in Wales at Caernarfon on 7 May.
