Kyme requests grace for the escape of prisoners from the gaol of York castle, one of whom took refuge in a church, and seven of whom were beheaded along with Milford, the son of the gaoler who was complicit in the escape.The names of those beheaded: Cottingwyth, Fourbissour, Heron, Fairhert, Vippont who was taken in the Scottish war fighting against the king, Staxton who was taken for the death of Simon de Staxton, Fletcher who was taken by suspicion.The names of those who are in the church: Fermour who was taken for the death of Pacy.The event took place on Monday before the feast of the Nativity of Our Lady in the 29 year of King Edward.
