- The guard note refers to a patent roll entry whose actual relationship to the petition is unclear though it does relate to the petitioner (CPR 1441-6, p.424). This entry dates to 16 May 1446, and although the hand of the petition is of about this date, and the petition is in English, it is difficult to be precise about the date.
