The mayor, jurats and commonalty request that they are able to enjoy their jurisdiction in a certain precinct which is called a balleuke (banlieu) as they have been disturbed by the king's ministers.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to Hugh and Bartholomew that concerning the thing contained in the petition they are to view the agreement made between the late steward and those of Bordeaux, and they are to inform themselves of the matter and certify the king.
