1) Copy of a writ of Edward I to Cobham ordering him to compensate the men of the islands who suffered damage in the war, to be compensated from the goods of those Norman and other fugitives of the islands, who were of the king of France's power.2) Cobham takes the third part of the goods of those who died in the war, and the people request grace as they have nothing to live on.

Note
The document seems to date to c. 1295 based on the dating clause of the writ which is 24 August 1295. However, the structure of the document is strange as the writ takes precedence, while what appears to be the petition is short and appended below the writ in an unfamiliar form.
