The document refers to events on 1 December 1264, and one of the responses refers to this being 25 years or more earlier which places this record to c. 1290. As the record appears to be an eyre plaint it is likely that it belongs to the eyre held in Shropshire from 6 October-15 December 1292 (Crook, D., Records of the General Eyre, (1982), p.175).
